About us

We are a non-profit Evangelical and Reformed Theological Institution that God has raised up to prepare workers for his church in Honduras. With more than 50 years of Christian educational history, the Theological Institute of the Evangelical and Reformed Church (ITIER) is fundamental in its doctrine and firmly believes in the verbal inspiration and final authority of the Word of God. We seek to serve all churches and denominations that share our doctrine and practice.

Purpose of the ITIER

The Theological Institute of the Reformed Church is an institution whose specific role is the preparation of men and women for the service of the Lord. In summary, this definition of functions fully reflects the scope of ITIER as “an institution of theological teaching in which the Bible is the center and essential for the development of Christian life and ministry. ITIER's education requires that all students cover a basic core of biblical classes, general studies, and Christian service experiences, integrating the biblical worldview with daily life and learning. This allows the curriculum to fulfill the overriding purpose of equipping students for ministry in and for the church and the world.”
